LYSYL
Lysyl is a solitary mage, and a typical nomadic thief at that. ...But,
he never gets involved in other peoples' business, and he doesn't commit
to violence by choice. Most people would expect, by his choice of clothing,
that he might be violent, but he uses his magic the most for travel.
Lysyl uses a unique style of magic. He pieces together his spells
element by element, assembling them like a chemist building formulas. His spells
are top of the line, but generally need a while for preperation. He has ready-made
spells memorized, such as combinations he uses a lot, but most spells he creates
on the spot.

And more to come. Gimme a while...
Part of the concept that's seperate
from science is that Lysyl never wants a spell to end up neutral - or dominance
between one element and another would occur. For example, an altered Water with
the magical 'valence' of +3 versus the element of Fire, with -3, would clash.
The result, with Fire's 'deterioration' attribute, would be Steam (+2, deterioration)
which would give way to Mist (-2, indistinction).
Furthermore, the linking spells can join the uneven spells, the ones that don't
like to join. Life and Death are farthest apart in nature, so a very strong
Linking spell would be in call. The final product could look like this:
Krö Másiko dai Nasíko síre Gaishan iu Jian , Chikóyan
.
Or:
From Death to Life with Fire and Air, linked with Metal Chain. The result would
bring corpses alive, with wings and Fire abilities. Naturally, only the most
powerful of Mages - the Sages, 5 in quantity - and their spell would bring an
unnatural power. With spells that resurrect, generally a lot of the power is
taken from the Wielder. The darkest of the Sages employs a Secondary mage as
accompaniement, one that could supply some of the force needed. It's the kind
of service that Sage would call 'voluntary.' -_________-
